I'll be honest, I was way nervous to present. I felt rushed even if he had all this time! It is bit ironic since I do all these activities! StuCo, Choir, Band, Leadership trainings, but nothing can prepare you for the feelings that overcome you while presenting to kids of all ages! I knew I was most likely overreacting, and some were people who I knew and were friends with! I just did not want to let them down. But then it hit me, I am telling these girls that they shouldn't handle their stress a certain way, but I keep telling myself I let them down? It didn't make sense! I took a deep breath and realized that we are all in the same boat. I became a lot more calm after my realization. It was fun! What wasn't fun was running straight to band practice..

Tomorrow we are presenting to some girls about mental health. I am kind of excited and nervous. We are going to make the presentation and the goodie bags tomorrow. :>
The struggles we faced as a group isn't what many may think.
We didn't fight with each other, nor did we ever get mad at each other. The hardest thing we faced was a member quitting the club, quite literally, last second. She had some problems arise and we understood! We would give out the name, but after speaking with her she decided she did not want her name spread. We picked up what remained unfinished. Most of us ran two or three jobs! It may have been tough, but we pulled through. She is a very lovely girl, and hopefully next year she'll be able to participate to her best ability. We struggled with getting all together as the 5 of us. Many of us had conflicting schedules, but I believe that displayed how hard all of us worked! We all worked hard behind the scenes, may it be one on one with our advisor, or with one other teammate. I hope our work shows how hard we worked!
Poetry has always been an outlet for me and lately I haven't had a chance to write anything! I missed the poetry contest and I was pretty bummed. It was for the Native American poetry contest. I have always been proud of my poems.
Since I couldn't enter my poem into the contest, I'll share it here!
My grandma told me a story
Of a woman so strong.
She could move mountains!
Her breathing could create
Clouds so Big and Bold!
My grandma told me
Could run so fast! Deer couldn't catch up
The story started so Bold and Big
That Woman could do anything!
My grandma started telling me
The Woman grew sick
With this big bad guy named
Man, that man had a grip on her!
The Woman started getting
If I could, I would've beaten that bad man up so good!
In the middle of the story,
My grandma started coughing!
Cancer took a hold of her too!
Her skin that was a
Started turning grey.
She said that's what the bad man does, and I asked Her
What he did to her
My grandma, she was the wisest elder we had!
Told me the bad man makes her real sick.
That he was an evil medicine man.
Hard to undo his damage.
Well, I'll tell you this. I cried so hard for my grandma!
My grandma said that Woman is Her.
She can't run faster than the deer,
Or blow clouds into existence.
No, she can't.
She's got to stay in her chair, drink her coffee, and continue to tell me
Of the stories of when she
While she still can.

Today I said bye to my Cherokee teacher. He did say he was on a contract, but it did still hurt!
I woke up extremely tired and in a coughing fit. Not the best morning! Lately, I have begun to feel more unmotivated. I haven't checked my grades in a bit, and I have felt the need to not talk anymore. I won't let myself drop my grades now! I'll keep trying my best! There's only two weeks of school left! I can do it! We all can do it! Sometimes it is extremely hard to look up but I am making it work! One thing I am extremely looking forward to is marching season!

Hi! My name is Rachel and today I will be telling you about my day. :] I honestly didn't want to go school today since I was so tired. I forced myself to go to school anyways. Band was the same as always working on our music for the upcoming spring concert. Art class was going well until I had to go to the Presentation Hall to take the second half of the U.S citizen ship test, which I missed because I was on a field trip. I came back before the bell rung and I even came up with an idea to do for the art show that is in two weeks. Hopefully I can get the art piece finished and turned in on time. In Algebra we got to do our assignment outside on the benches by the cafeteria. I really enjoyed getting some fresh air and some sunlight. Our Oklahoma History teacher wasn't here today, so we had a substitute. She was really nice and I was even allowed to have my phone out after I got my assignment done. In Biology we got to play blookits all hour as a review for our test tomorrow over evolution. In fundamental of technology I didn't do much because I got my assignment done earlier. My English teacher was also gone today, so we had to go to another teacher's classroom. Over all, I had a pretty good day and hopefully my mom will make spaghetti for dinner. :)
Wednesday 4/27 2022 so what happen today was.. well not much honestly. So for starters I was almost late for the school bus.. That was fun! Then I got on the school bus, which was LOADED with kids, and I really dislike when there are so many kids on the bus because people are scary to me and I won't be able to sit next to a window so yeah there was that. After I got off the bus, I went into the cafeteria and ate a little bit of food, aka an apple but my boyfriend gave me Dr. pepper so that made my day better and in first hour.. boring moving on... In second hour though, I really didn't like it because I had to take TWO TESTS! But you know its for a grade and I love me some good grades! But it was also really boring. The thirst hour was really nice I'm not going to lie, we went outside and the work wasn't hard at all! and the rest of the hours were the same but you know, get them grades up!
have a nice day- Lilly Fuson
Not every day is a bad day but it gets hard to find the motivation to write.
